Senior Manager, Operations

How did you end up at MCI?

I was working for a local event agency for about 4 years up until 2015 when my colleagues and myself were brought on-board the MCI Canada train! It has been the best opportunity I could hope for as it has provided me with so many career growth and educational opportunities.

What makes you proud about working at MCI?

MCI’s focus on educating our talents and focus on sustainability – those two initiatives are a large part of why I am so proud to be a part of this company as they are deeply important to me as a person

It is a globally recognized and well respected brand. Whenever I attend supplier events now, they recognize the MCI flower and tell me amazing stories about my colleagues all over the world.

Can you talk about a specific scenario that created an extraordinary career experience for you?

One of the highlights of my career came in January 2014 when I managed a private four-day incentive travel program for 400 guests in Panama. With private charters, private parties in the Panama la Vieja ruins, the Miraflores Locks and a complete buy-out of the Trump Hotel, the program’s success came from over a year of planning every little detail and including bucket-list moments for each guest.

What’s the 1 piece of advice you would give others about working at MCI?

Explore what MCI has to offer to its talents! Taking time to discover the amazing information on Switch (our in-house Learning & Development system), participating in our educational sessions, joining the sustainability team and brainstorming with colleagues half-way across the world. Our MCI network has so much to offer and it’s all at our finger tips.
