The National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) promotes and influences child support policies and services and educates, connects, and inspires those who work in child support. Among the organization’s largest member communities are state, tribal, and county child support enforcement agencies, all of whose full-time employees are eligible for NCSEA member benefits.
With coronavirus forcing many state agencies to transition employees to telework while also creating new challenges for child support enforcement professionals, NCSEA has prioritized working with agency members to sign up all of their FTEs, who then will have access to NCSEA’s online learning programs and other resources, as well as creating timely, relevant weekly webinars addressing specific challenges they face under the current situation. The organization has also worked to reinforce the value of membership by hosting an Engagement Lounge for members to call into every other week and distributing a weekly email that cites its valuable resources for members.
“It’s important to understand what your members need,” said MCI USA talent Ann Marie Ruskin, who serves as NCSEA’s executive director. “Our members are under a lot of pressure right now, and our focus has been to facilitate things as much as possible for them.”
