MCI USA Nominated for Ozzie Award for Outstanding Design


Washington, DC, USA, September 22, 2023. MCI USA is proud to announce it has been named a finalist for an Ozzie Award for the redesign of EuroTimes, the official news magazine of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons. The Eddie & Ozzie Awards is the most prestigious recognition program in the publishing community, recognizing design and editorial content from print and digital publications around the globe.

MCI has partnered with the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) to provide editorial, design, and production services for EuroTimes. The MCI USA Creative Services’ graphic designers redesigned EuroTimes to be easier to read and more visually appealing. They incorporated more graphics, used color more strategically, and made the connection between EuroTimes and ESCRS more noticeable.

The Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards are recognized industry-wide, receiving applications in the thousands annually from print and digital publications around the globe. MCI USA is included with 2023 Ozzie finalists from small independent to the largest brands in the business, including The Nature Conservancy, Consumer Reports, PwC, and Travel + Leisure. Winners of Eddie & Ozzie Awards will be announced live at the awards gala in New York City on Tuesday, October 24.
