Our Commitment
At MCI, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all areas of our operations.
This commitment extends to everyone we work with including clients, freelancers, contractors, third-party suppliers and guests. The following information sets out key guidelines for anyone working with MCI colleagues or visiting our offices, helping to ensure a positive experience for all.
Conduct
In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, all individuals have the right to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. MCI has a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any form of inappropriate behaviour. We expect all clients, freelancers, contractors, and third-party suppliers to uphold a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and accountability in every interaction. Any behaviour that does not align with these expectations may result in appropriate action being taken.
The following information outlines key guidelines for anyone visiting our offices.
Health and Safety
- Site Orientation: Upon arrival at any MCI office, an MCI team member will provide a brief orientation, including the location of emergency exits, fire alarms, first aid kits, and designated assembly points. In the event of an alarm, please remain calm and follow your host to the nearest safe exit.
- Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of your MCI host. Do not use lifts during a fire alarm.
- Incident Reporting: Any hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions observed during your visit should be reported to an MCI representative as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after your visit. This helps us take prompt corrective action and maintain a safe environment for all.
- Personal Responsibility Visitors are expected to take reasonable care of their own health and safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by their actions. Please behave responsibly and avoid any activity that could present a risk.
- Medical and Accessibility Needs: If you have any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility requirements, we encourage you to inform your MCI contact in advance. This allows us to make any necessary arrangements to ensure your comfort and safety during your visit.
- Restricted Areas: Please do not enter any restricted or staff-only areas unless accompanied by an authorised MCI employee.
We believe that maintaining high standards of behaviour and safety is a shared responsibility, and we appreciate your co-operation in helping us uphold these values and safety guidelines.
