European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders

A Landmark Event in Haemophilia Research

Set against the dynamic backdrop of Milan, Italy, MCI Switzerland played a pivotal role in delivering a truly exceptional experience for the 18th Annual Congress of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), held from February 4-7, 2025. Despite the challenges of the post-Covid era, with a marked decline in virtual audiences, this congress served as a powerful reminder of the necessity for in-person connections within the scientific and medical communities. With over 2,000 attendees (2,172 in person and 172 online), the congress underscored the growing importance of physical gatherings in the advancement of knowledge and collaboration in the field of haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

This prestigious event brought together experts from around the world to share the latest research, clinical advancements, and best practices in the treatment and management of haemophilia. Hosted at MiCo, one of Milan’s most renowned venues, the congress provided a vibrant forum for knowledge exchange and networking. MCI Switzerland was entrusted with managing every detail of the event, ensuring its seamless execution. Our team was responsible for everything from registration handling and sponsorship sourcing to venue booking, full hybridisation implementation, and abstract management. Our long-standing partnership with EAHAD, which dates back to 2011, was crucial in ensuring the success of this event, and we are proud to announce that our collaboration has now been extended through 2029.
