MCI USA welcomes Society of Defense Financial Management as new full-service association client

August 2025 — MCI USA recently welcomed the Society of Defense Financial Management (SDFM) as a new full-service association management client. SDFM is the non-profit educational and professional organization for persons, military and civilian, involved in the financial management profession who support the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the intelligence community. SDFM promotes the education and training of its members and supports the development and advancement of the profession. The organization serves more than 14,000 members and over 100 chapters.

MCI USA will provide comprehensive management services, including strategic planning, membership development, certification, communications and event management. Rich Brady, CDFM, CGFM, CMA, will continue as the SDFM chief executive officer in a hybrid staffing model.

This partnership marks a strategic milestone for SDFM as it looks to build on its strong foundation and deliver even greater value to its members across the defense financial management community. With MCI USA’s deep expertise in association management, SDFM will strengthen its operations, grow its membership and expand professional development offerings.
