Spots Privacy Policy

The Spots application (hereinafter “the app”), used by MCI Suisse SA (hereinafter “MCI”), based at 9 rue du Pré-Bouvier 1242 Satigny Switzerland, is intended to manage the parking spaces in the premises of MCI. The app allows its users to provide a parking space (“sharers”) to other users (“bookers”) and values the most generous by means of a ranking. Users are MCI Suisse SA and Dorier SA employees.

This privacy policy explains to the employees of the app how their personal data are collected, used and stored in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (hereinafter "FDPA"). It also aims to explain to them all the rights applicable to their use.

Scope of application

This privacy policy applies to the entire app. It does not apply to other websites to which this app may redirect the user through possible links.

Data Collection

The app may collect the following personal data with the consent of the employee:

-        First Name

-        Last Name

-        Phone Number

-        License plate number

-        Spot number

-        Number of sharing

-        Leaderboard points

These data are linked to the mci group account of the employee when he/she logs in for the first time in the app.

Purpose of data processing

Only data provided by the user are collected and processed. Only the data necessary for the app are collected. The personal data processing, based on the consent of the employee, carried out is as follows:

-        Create an account

-        Share a parking spot

-        Book a parking spot

-        Count the points collected by the user

If the personal data should be used for other purposes, the employee's consent will always be requested.

Data retention

Personal data are kept in the app during the employee professional life at MCI Suisse SA and Dorier SA. The data are manually deleted when the employee leaves by the Human Resources department.

Data transfer

Personal data may be transferred to third parties, such as the external service provider, SwissTomato, in the context of the proper functioning of the application and the points challenge. Under no circumstances will personal data be resold or passed on to third parties for marketing or profiling purposes.

Data subjects’ rights

The user has all the rights arising from the FDPA, such as the right to request access to, rectification of the Data, or restriction of processing, and to object to said processing, as well as the right to data portability. The user may at any time request the deactivation of his or her login, knowing that this will automatically lead to disqualification from the points challenge.

To assert his/her rights, the user must contact the Data Protection Officer by e-mail at the following address: privacy@mci-group.com.

Changes

This policy may be revised and updated by mci group from time to time to comply with statutory data protection and privacy laws. mci group will post any statement changes on its website and, if the changes are significant, mci group will send a notice to the e-mail address provided in your Contact Profile.
