Mastercard and MCI Brussels have been partnering since 2008 on the delivery of the financial service leader’s European meetings. Progressively, the relationship grew into a strong long-lasting partnership that saw MCI managing highly visible events across Europe, the United States, and the MEA region. As a result of this collaboration, MCI has supported Mastercard’s European Business Summit since 2015, bringing together key customers from over 60 countries. The aim of this fast-paced event is to share key business insights, showcase the latest innovations in technology and enhance networking and conversations with customers.
MCI successfully managed the Summit by applying their creativity and design thinking to translate the summit’s content into an animated and engaging experience for the delegates, from their arrival at the venue until the Summit’s end. Thanks to the implementation of a dedicated event app, MCI guaranteed high engagement levels before and throughout the event, providing Mastercard insights on attendees' behaviours – how many times the app was downloaded, the interactions embraced by attendees through polls and questions, and what topics they deemed more relevant for discussion. This strategy resulted in an increase in engagement of 17% compared to the previous year.
